Molly and Bill were sitting in their rundown van, their masks and gloves already on. They were parked outside the children's party venue. "Alright, here's the plan," Molly said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We'll go in through the back door. There's a window we can smash, and we'll be in the kitchen. From there, it's just a straight shot to the present table. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy." Bill nodded, his face serious despite the absurdity of their plan. "Got it. But what about the kids? They'll be screaming their heads off if they see us." Molly grinned, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Leave that to me. I've got a bag of party favors in the back. We'll distract them with whistles and noisemakers, and they'll be too busy having fun to notice us sneaking away with all the booty." "If you say so," Bill said, still looking skeptical. "But what about the adults? They're not gonna just let us walk out with all those presents." "Don't worry about it," Molly said, her grin widening. "We've got a distraction for them too. Trust me, it'll be like taking candy from a baby." "Literally," Bill muttered, but he knew there was no turning back now. They were in this together, and he had complete faith in Molly's plan.
