Molly and Bill crouched behind the bushes, peering through the gaps at the colorful chaos of the children's party. Balloons bobbed in the breeze, and the sound of laughter filled the air. "Alright, Bill, what's the plan?" Molly whispered, her eyes fixed on the table piled high with presents. Bill adjusted his cap and grinned. "Simple. We blend in, grab the loot, and get out. Easy peasy." Molly raised an eyebrow. "Blend in? We're not exactly dressed for a party." Bill looked down at his black turtleneck and cargo pants. "Details, details. We'll improvise. You see that clown over there?" Molly followed his gaze to a clown making balloon animals. "Yeah, what about him?" "We take his costumes. No one will suspect a thing." Molly snorted. "You want us to dress up as clowns? That's your big plan?" Bill shrugged. "Got a better idea?" Molly sighed. "Fine. But if I end up with a pie in my face, you're paying for my dry cleaning." Bill chuckled. "Deal. Now, let's move." They crept around the perimeter of the yard, keeping low to avoid detection. As they neared the clown, Bill motioned for Molly to stay put. He approached the clown, who was busy twisting a balloon into a dog. "Hey, buddy," Bill said, flashing a friendly smile. "Can I talk to you for a sec?" The clown looked up, surprised. "Sure, what's up?" Bill leaned in, lowering his voice. "We need your costumes. It's an emergency." The clown blinked. "An emergency? What kind of emergency?" Molly stepped forward, her expression serious. "A clown emergency. Trust us, it's urgent." The clown hesitated, then sighed. "Alright, but you owe me one." Bill grinned. "You got it, pal." A few minutes later, Molly and Bill emerged from behind the bushes, now dressed in oversized shoes, colorful wigs, and red noses. Molly adjusted her wig, muttering, "I can't believe I'm doing this." Bill laughed. "You look great. Now, let's get those presents." They sauntered into the party, trying to act natural. A group of kids immediately swarmed them, demanding balloon animals. "Uh, sure, kids," Molly said, fumbling with a balloon. "What do you want?" "A giraffe!" one kid shouted. Molly glanced at Bill, who shrugged. "Coming right up," she said, twisting the balloon awkwardly. Bill, meanwhile, was eyeing the present table. "I'll handle the distractions. You grab the goods." Molly nodded, handing the kid a lopsided balloon giraffe. "Here you go, kid." Bill started juggling some balls he found, drawing the attention of the crowd. "Step right up, folks! Watch the amazing juggling clown!" As the kids and parents gathered around Bill, Molly slipped over to the table. She quickly stuffed the presents into a large sack, glancing nervously over her shoulder. "Almost done," she muttered to herself. Bill's voice rang out, "And now, for my grand finale!" Molly hurried back to Bill, the sack slung over her shoulder. "Let's go, before they notice." Bill finished his juggling act with a flourish, then bowed. "Thank you, thank you! You've been a wonderful audience!" They made their way to the edge of the yard, trying to look casual. Just as they reached the bushes, a voice called out, "Hey, where are you going with those presents?" Molly and Bill froze, then bolted, the sack bouncing behind them. They didn't stop running until they were safely out of sight. Molly panted, "That was too close." Bill grinned, holding up a brightly wrapped box. "But we got the loot. Mission accomplished." Molly shook her head, laughing despite herself. "You're crazy, you know that?" Bill winked. "That's why you love me."
