Molly tossed the binoculars onto the passenger seat and turned to Bill, a mischievous glint in her eye. "The coast is clear. I've counted no less than twenty-five sugar-fueled monsters and five distracted adults." Bill rubbed his hands together, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Jackpot. What's the haul looking like?" "From what I can see, it's a veritable treasure trove of plastic crap and noise-making devices. I spotted a Transformers playset, at least three Barbie dolls, and what appears to be a Nerf arsenal." Bill's eyes lit up. "The sweet, sweet nectar of suburban excess. You know, we could retire on this score alone." Molly snorted. "If we can get in and out without getting caught in a sticky situation involving juice boxes and tantrums." "Details, details," Bill waved his hand dismissively. "I've got a plan. We go in disguised as party clowns. We blend in, grab the goods, and make a quick exit." Molly raised an eyebrow. "You want to dress up like a creepy, depressive children's entertainer to steal from kids?" Bill shrugged. "Hey, it's all about the art of misdirection. Who expects party clowns to be thieves?" "Every adult within a five-mile radius, that's who," Molly deadpanned. "What's the escape plan?" "We hotwire the bounce house." Molly blinked. "You want to use a bounce house as a getaway vehicle?" "It's a bold move, I know, but trust me, it's a crowd-pleaser. We'll be bouncing our way to freedom before the cops even arrive." Molly shot him a dubious look. "And what about the noise? It's not exactly stealthy." "Leave that to me," Bill said, producing a can of Silly String from his pocket. "I've got a plan to...ah...string things along." Molly face-palmed. "You're really going to make me do this, aren't you?" Bill grinned. "Hey, it's for the greater good of our wallets. And think of the looks on the kids' faces when they realize they've been robbed by a pair of kleptomaniacal clowns." Molly couldn't help but chuckle. "You're a sick, sick man, Bill." "Hey, someone's got to bring a little excitement to these tedious suburban shindigs. Now, shall we get suited up and get this party started?" With a resigned sigh, Molly nodded, and the two thieves began to transform into the most unlikely of crime duos: Binky and Boopers, Party Clowns Extraordinaire.
