Molly and Bill sat hunched in a dingy alleyway, their breaths visible in the frigid December air. Molly traced her fingers over the blueprints of the children's entertainment complex spread across her lap. She whispered, "This is it, Bill. The motherlode of Christmas presents. It's like Santa's workshop threw up in there." Bill tugged at his collar and scanned the entrance of the building. "Molly, are you sure about this? Stealing presents from kids?" He shook his head. "It feels a bit... Grinch-y." Molly rolled her eyes. "Bill, we're not stealing from the actual children. We're stealing from the rich parents who rob them blind." She leaned in closer and lowered her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "It's a victimless crime... Well, except for the rich folks, but they'll be none the wiser." Bill sighed and rubbed his stubbly chin. "Alright, you've got a point. The society has grown too materialistic. It's time to redistribute the wealth a bit." Molly grinned and patted him on the shoulder. "That's the spirit! Now, let's go over the plan one more time." They leaned in, their heads almost touching as they scoured the blueprints. Molly tapped her finger on a ventilation shaft. "We enter through here. It's just large enough for us to crawl through. We'll come out near the main ballroom where the party's taking place." Bill swallowed hard, his face pale. "You sure I'll fit?" Molly chuckled. "You'll manage, big guy. Besides, it's only for a few yards." Bill gulped and nodded. "Right. So, once we're in the ballroom, what's the next step?" Molly pointed to a small alcove on the map. "We make our way to this little nook over here. It's perfect for us to hide and observe until the party's in full swing." Bill furrowed his brow. "Then, what? How are we gonna get all those presents out without being seen?" Molly winked and pulled a small, remote-controlled drone out of her bag. "Leave that to little Buzz. He'll zip around, snatch up the gifts, and deliver 'em to our getaway car." Bill's eyes widened in amazement. "You've thought of everything, haven't you?" Molly beamed. "Of course, I have! Now, let's synchronize our watches. The party starts in fifteen minutes, so we'll need to be in position before then." As they set their watches, Molly noticed a twinkle in Bill's eye. She smirked and whispered, "Remember, we're doing this for all the kids who won't get presents this year." Bill nodded, determination etched on his face. "Let's give those rich folks a lesson they'll never forget." With a nod, Molly led the way towards the ventilation shaft. Bill followed close behind, his heart beating out an erratic staccato. As they climbed into the dim, metallic passage, Molly couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. Tonight, they would be Santa's little helpers, even if it meant bending the rules just a little.
