Molly crossed her arms, leaning against the lamppost. "So, you're telling me that our biggest score yet is going to be from a children's party?" Bill grinned from ear to ear, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yep, that's right. Old Man Jenkins is throwing the party for his grandkid's birthday. He's loaded, and he's going all out on presents." Molly raised an eyebrow. "And how exactly do you plan on swiping the loot from a roomful of screaming kids?" Bill waved a dismissive hand. "Ah, that's the easy part. We'll wait until the piñata gets cracked open and all the kids are scrambling for candy. We'll slip in, grab the presents, and slip out before anyone notices." Molly shook her head. "And what if someone does notice? We can't exactly blend in with a bunch of five-year-olds." "That's why we'll need these." Bill pulled out a pair of kiddie-sized masks from his coat pocket. "We'll look just like all the other little party monsters." Molly stared at the masks in disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me." "Hey, it'll work! Trust me." "I don't know, Bill. This whole plan seems a little...ridiculous." "Come on, Molly. When have I ever let you down?" "Fine, fine," Molly relented. "But if I end up in jail for stealing a bunch of dolls and action figures, I'm never speaking to you again." "Deal." Bill extended his hand for Molly to shake. The day of the party arrived, and Molly and Bill made their way to the Jenkins estate. They hid in some nearby bushes and watched as the partygoers arrived, dressed in colorful costumes and clutching presents. "Okay," Bill whispered. "it's time to put on our disguises." Molly grimaced as she pulled on the oversized mask. "I can't believe I'm doing this." "Just think of the payday, Molly. We'll be set for life!" They crept towards the house, keeping a low profile. Once inside, they spotted the gift table piled high with presents. But they couldn't just grab them and go. They had to wait for the piñata. Finally, the moment arrived. The piñata was hoisted into the air, and the kids began to swing wildly at it. As planned, Molly and Bill slipped in and began stuffing their bags with presents. But just as they were about to make their exit, a small voice piped up behind them. "Hey! You're not supposed to be here!" Molly and Bill froze, their hearts pounding in their chests. They turned around to see a little girl in a princess dress, staring at them accusingly. "Uh, hi there," Bill said, trying to sound casual. "We're just here to, uh, help clean up." The little girl looked skeptical. "Are you sure? You look like bad guys." Molly gulped. "No, no. We're not bad guys. We're...um...entertainers? Yeah, that's it. We're here to entertain the kids." The little girl eyed them suspiciously. "What kind of entertainment involves stealing presents?" Molly and Bill glanced at each other, panicked. They needed to think fast. "Oh, those aren't presents," Molly said with a smile. "They're just...uh...props for our magic show!" "Magic show?" The little girl's eyes widened with excitement. "Can I see a trick?" "Uh, sure," Bill said, quickly grabbing a toy from his bag. "Watch closely as I make this disappear!" He waved his hand over the toy and shoved it in his pocket. The little girl clapped her hands in delight. "Wow! That was amazing! Can I see another one?" Molly and Bill exchanged a relieved glance. Maybe they could pull this off after all. "Of course, sweetheart," Molly said with a wink. "We'll just need to...borrow a few more props first."
