Molly peeked through the blinds of the rundown apartment, her eyes fixed on the colorful bouncy castle across the street. "Okay, so the party is in full swing. I count at least twenty sugar-high kids and five frazzled adults." Bill scrubbed his hands through his messy brown hair, pacing behind her. "I don't know, Molly, I've got a bad feeling about this one. It's a kids' party. We're going to end up on a list somewhere." Molly turned, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Oh, come on. It's not like we're stealing from orphans. These kids are getting spoiled rotten by their wealthy parents. We're just...redistributing the wealth." Bill raised an eyebrow. "You mean stealing all the presents and selling them online for a tidy profit?" Molly winked. "That's just a minor detail. The point is, we need the cash, and this is an easy score. Besides, I have a plan." Bill flopped onto the worn couch, running his hands over his face. "What's the plan this time?" Molly bounced over to the coffee table, a large piece of paper spread out with a crude map of the party area. "Okay, so we sneak in during the piñata breaking. The kids will be too distracted by the candy and chaos to notice us. We make a beeline for the present table, swap out the gifts with some empty boxes we brought, and then make our escape during the subsequent sugar crash." Bill studied the map, his brow furrowed. "And what about the party favors? I heard the birthday kid's dad is some tech mogul, and he's giving out actual tablets as party favors." Molly's grin turned evil. "Leave those to me. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Or rather, in my bag of party favor swaps." Bill shook his head, chuckling. "You know, sometimes I don't know whether to be impressed or terrified by your genius." Molly beamed with pride. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here. Now, shall we get dressed for the party? I have some excellent cat burglar costumes for us to wear." Bill stood, brushing off his jeans. "Please tell me they're not actual cat onesies." Molly just laughed, rummaging through a nearby closet. "You'll just have to wait and see."
