Molly crouched behind a dumpster, peering around the edge to scope out the children's party unfolding across the street. Bill huddled beside her, his eyes fixed on the mountain of brightly wrapped presents piled on a nearby table. The scent of sugary frosting and screaming kids wafted through the air, making Molly's stomach twist with equal parts hunger and anxiety. "Remind me why we're doing this again?" Molly whispered, tucking a stray lock of hair under her beanie. "Five hundred bucks' worth of unsecured loot, ripe for the taking," Bill replied, his voice barely audible over the chorus of "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" erupting from the party. "Besides, it's not like we're ruining Christmas. These kids are just getting spoiled by their rich parents. We're evening the playing field." Molly raised an eyebrow. "You're just saying that to justify the fact you still eat Froot Loops for breakfast." Bill shot her a withering look. "Hey, Froot Loops are a solid choice. Now, shall we get to work before the Pinata gets cracked open and all hell breaks loose?"
