Molly adjusted her bright pink wig, gazing at her reflection in the cramped motel room mirror. Beside her, Bill hunched over a layout of the party venue, a sprawling suburban backyard. He scratched his chin thoughtfully, his fedora tipped low over his eyes. "Alright, Moll, here's the plan," Bill said, his voice low and gravelly. "We sneak in through the garden gnomes, past the bounce house, and make a beeline for the present table." Molly raised an eyebrow, pouting at her reflection. "Garden gnomes? Really? That's the best we've got?" Bill shrugged. "Hey, it's better than my original idea – dressing up as a pair of animatronic party animals." Molly snorted. "I vetoed that one for a reason. I don't do furry." Bill chuckled. "I forgot you're more of a glam girl." Molly gave him a withering look. "Hey, someone has to bring some style to this operation." Bill held up his hands in mock defense. "I'm just saying, you in a fuzzy rabbit suit would've been priceless." Molly shook her head, checking her disguise one last time. "Focus, Bill. What's the haul looking like?" Bill consulted his layout, tapping a pencil on the schematics. "Let's see...two dozen sugar-fueled partygoers, plus assorted parents and guardians. Assuming an average gift price of twenty bucks per kid, we're looking at a rough estimate of...five hundred bucks." Molly whistled. "Not bad for a Saturday afternoon's work." Bill grinned, folding up the layout. "I told you kids' parties are the new black." As they finalized their plans, Molly couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement. She loved the thrill of the heist, the rush of adrenaline as they danced on the edge of getting caught. And what was more thrilling than swiping presents from under the noses of a bunch of sugar-high six-year-olds? Bill checked his watch, a grimy Timex that had seen better days. "Alright, we've got our window. Showtime's in twenty – let's get this party started." Molly flashed him a dazzling smile, snatching up her sequined clutch.
