Molly adjusted the bright pink wig on her head, scrutinizing her reflection in the rearview mirror of the getaway van. "I still can't believe we're doing this, Bill. A children's birthday party? We've sunk to a new low." Bill, lounging in the passenger seat, snorted. "Hey, don't knock it till we get our hands on those presents. I've got a guy who's willing to pay top dollar for a bulk load of Frozen dolls and Nerf guns." Molly raised an eyebrow. "A guy? What kind of guy buys stolen kids' toys in bulk?" "The kind of guy who's got a lot of nieces and nephews, presumably," Bill said, a grin spreading across his face. "Or maybe he just likes to keep a well-stocked playroom in his basement. Don't judge." Molly shook her head, turning her attention back to the mirror. "I'm just saying, we used to be classy thieves. We used to hit up diamonds and art galleries, not kids' parties." Bill chuckled. "Those were the days, all right. But have you seen the security at those places lately? It's like Fort Knox. Kids' parties, on the other hand, are like the Wild West. Wide open and ripe for the picking." Molly sighed, fluffing out her wig. "I just hope no one recognizes us. I don't think I can live with myself if we get caught stealing from a bunch of five-year-olds." Bill waved a hand dismissively. "Don't worry, I've got a plan. We go in, we grab the presents, and we're out in five minutes or less. Easy peasy." Molly raised an eyebrow. "What about the cake and the bounce house? We can't just ignore those." Bill's eyes lit up. "Now that you mention it, I could totally go for a slice of cake. And maybe a bounce or two on the house. You know, for old times' sake." Molly rolled her eyes. "You're impossible." The two thieves climbed out of the van, dressed in their ridiculous disguises - Molly in a bright pink wig and a "Party Pal" t-shirt, Bill in a pair of oversized novelty sunglasses and a "Happy Birthday, Timmy!" hat. As they made their way to the party, the sound of squealing children and thumping music filled the air. Molly's stomach began to twist into knots. "This is a bad idea, Bill. A very bad idea." Bill just grinned and clapped her on the back. "Come on, Molly. It's showtime. Let's go steal some presents and make some questionable life choices!"
