Molly unfolded the crude map of the children's party layout on the kitchen table, her eyes scanning the squiggly lines and crude doodles. Bill leaned against the counter, sipping a lukewarm coffee, his gaze fixed on the tangled mess of curls on Molly's head. "Okay, so the piñata is here," Molly said, tapping a scribbled X on the map. "And the present table is adjacent to the ball pit. We need to get in, grab the loot, and get out before the sugar-fueled chaos erupts." Bill snorted. "Sugar-fueled chaos? You mean the kids or the parents?" Molly shot him a wry look. "Both, I'm sure. Now, let's review the plan. I take care of the security cameras while you—" " Handle the bouncing castle perimeter," Bill finished, a smirk playing on his lips. "I'm a professional, Molly." "Professional what?" Molly retorted, raising an eyebrow. "Bouncy castle wrangler?" Bill chuckled. "It's a tough job, someone's gotta do it." As they pored over the map, the party's themes and attractions began to take shape. A petting zoo, face painting, and a DJ spinning what promised to be an ear-piercing playlist. Molly and Bill exchanged a skeptical look. "Who throws a birthday party like this for a five-year-old?" Bill asked, incredulous. Molly shrugged. "Someone with too much money and not enough common sense. Now, are we clear on the exits?" Bill nodded, pointing to a set of french doors leading to a garden. "We make our escape through there, while the party staff is distracted by the screaming kids and demands for more juice boxes." Molly tucked a stray curl behind her ear. "Sounds like a solid plan. Oh, and one more thing: no making funny faces at the clowns. We don't want to draw attention." Bill feigned horror. "You think I'd risk blowing our cover for a few cheap laughs? I'm a consummate professional." Molly gave him a side-eye. "Is that why you wore the bright orange jumpsuit to the last heist?" Bill's grin faltered, and he glanced down at his outfit, which was, indeed, an innocuous black ensemble. "Hey, that was one time, okay? I was going through a phase." Molly shook her head, tucking the map into her bag. "Just stick to the plan, and try not to get too distracted by the ball pit. We have presents to steal." As they headed out the door, Bill lagged behind, eyes drifting to the fluttering pinata and the saccharine sounds of kid's music wafting from the party venue. A sly grin crept back onto his face. "It's gonna be a blast."
