Molly adjusted her bright pink wig in the rearview mirror, scrunching up her face in distaste. "I still don't see why we have to dress up like rejects from a bad 80s music video." Bill, resplendent in a neon green jumpsuit, grinned. "Come on, Mol, it's a kids' party. We've got to blend in. Besides, I think I look rather dashing." Molly snorted. "You look like a highlighter pen with legs. What's the plan, anyway?" Bill consulted a scribbled-on napkin. "Okay, so the party's at the community center. We sneak in through the side door during the pinata break, make a beeline for the present table, and grab as many goodies as we can carry. Easy peasy." Molly raised an eyebrow. "And what about the potential for sugar-high witnesses? We don't want to get caught by a posse of hyperactive six-year-olds." Bill waved a hand dismissively. "I've got it covered. I've got a stash of contraband candy in my backpack. We'll bribe the little blighters with gummy bears and make our escape."
