Molly and Bill huddled in the dimly lit alley, scanning the party invitation they had swiped from a mailbox. The sugar-coated cartoon characters on the card made Molly's stomach turn. Bill, on the other hand, looked like a kid on Christmas morning. "Alright, so we're talking two dozen kids, minimum," Bill said, rubbing his hands together. "And each one's got a gift worth at least fifty bucks. We're looking at a grand haul, Molls." Molly scrunched up her face. "You're really excited about stealing from a bunch of kindergartners, aren't you?" "Hey, they're just little bundles of consumption, anyway. They won't even remember us. Besides, it's not like we're taking their ice cream money. It's the gifts, Molls. We're talking new toys, fresh out of the box. We can sell them online for a pretty penny." Molly sighed, shaking her head. "You're a real humanitarian, Bill. 'Let's steal from the children, they'll never notice.' I'm starting to think you're the Grinch's long-lost cousin." Bill chuckled. "Hey, someone's gotta keep the griddling thieves in business. And it might as well be us, the masters of children's party crime."
