Molly adjusted the rearview mirror as she pulled the getaway van into the crowded parking lot of the suburban community center. "Alright, Bill, can you get a look at the layout?" She gestured to the brightly decorated entrance, where a banner reading "Happy 8th Birthday, Timmy!" flapped in the breeze. Bill peered out the passenger window, his eyes squinting behind a pair of mirrored sunglasses. "It's a real fortress, Molls. I count at least three balloons and a pinata that looks like it's been rigged with explosives." Molly snorted. "Don't get your hopes up, Bill. That's just a bunch of tissue paper and a stick. Okay, what's the plan?" "Okay, so Timmy's dad is some kind of corporate bigwig, and he's spared no expense on this shindig. I'm talking bouncy castle, pony rides, the whole nine yards. And, of course, a mountain of presents that's just begging to be stolen." Molly's eyes lit up behind her cat-eye glasses. "Now we're talking. What's the security situation?" "Well, I spotted a few off-duty cops moonlighting as party staff, but they look like they're more interested in the free cake than actually keeping an eye on the loot. We should be able to slip in unnoticed during the pinata-smashing ceremony." Molly rubbed her hands together. "I love a good pinata. What's the timeline?" "Party starts at 2 PM, pinata's scheduled to make its grand appearance at 3:30. We'll sneak in around 3:20, grab the presents, and be outta there before the juice boxes are even empty." Molly grinned. "Sounds like a plan, Bill. But just to cover our bases, what's the contingency plan if we get caught?" Bill shrugged. "We'll just blend in with the other parents. I mean, how many adults are really paying attention to the kids at a party like this?" Molly raised an eyebrow. "You're going to try to pass yourself off as a responsible adult?" Bill snorted. "Hey, I've been practicing my 'concerned parent' face. Watch this." He scrunched up his face and furrowed his brow, attempting to look serious. Molly burst out laughing. "Oh, Bill, you look like a constipated clown. We're doomed." Bill grinned. "Hey, it's all about the confidence, Molls. Now, are you ready to get this party started?" Molly pulled on a pair of gloves and adjusted her wig. "Let's get this loot."
