Molly stood in front of the worn map of the city, a pin pointing out the location of the day's mark: a children's birthday party at the upscale Lincoln Square Playroom. Bill, lounging on the couch, crunched on a bag of potato chips, his eyes fixed on the TV where a rerun of The Great British Baking Show played in the background. Molly turned to him, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Alright, Bill, here's the plan. We go in, pose as the party entertainer, and while the kids are distracted, we make off with the goods." Bill's eyes flicked to her, a hint of disinterest lingering on his face. "You mean the presents, right? Because if we're after the cake, I'm in." Molly rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Of course, we're after the presents, Bill. We're not completely heartless. Although, I have to admit, that cake does look good." The sounds of a group of sugar-high children and the tinny music of a kid's birthday party CD drifted through the TV's speakers, and Molly's eyes lit up with glee. "Can you believe it? A whole room full of loot, just waiting for the taking."
