Molly, sprawled on the worn-out couch, looked up from her map of the neighborhood. "Alright, Bill, let's go over this one more time. The party starts at 1400 hours—" "You mean 2 PM, right?" Bill interjected, glancing up from his laptop. "Yes, Bill. 2 PM. That gives us exactly twelve minutes to infiltrate, acquire the packages, and exfiltrate." Bill raised an eyebrow. "You're making it sound like we're storming Normandy. It's a kid's party, Molly." "And we're stealing the presents. You know, the sole reason for the party?" Molly shot back. "Now, according to my intel, there will be approximately twenty-five to thirty children in attendance." Bill chuckled. "Intel? You talked to the eight-year-old next door." Molly rolled her eyes. "And he was a font of information. The point is, we need to be quick and unobtrusive." "Unobtrusive? In a clown suit?" Bill gestured to the colorful costume hanging on the door. "That's our cover, genius," Molly retorted. "Who's going to question a clown at a kid's party?" Bill sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Fine. So, we go in, grab the presents, and... what? Just walk out?" "Precisely. We exit stage left, dump the costumes, and blend into the crowd outside the park." Molly grinned, tracing their escape route on the map. Bill looked at her, skeptical. "You do realize that stealing from kids is pretty low, right?" Molly waved a dismissive hand. "Oh, please. These kids are spoiled rotten. Besides, we're not keeping the loot. It's all going to charity." "The Molly and Bill Foundation for Underprivileged Adults Who Can't Afford Their Own Video Games?" Bill asked, smirking. "Shut up and get your face paint on," Molly laughed, tossing a makeup kit at him. "And don't forget to inflate the balloons. We need to look legit." Bill caught the kit, sighing dramatically. "You know, when I agreed to be your partner in crime, I pictured something more... glamorous." Molly chuckled, pulling on her own clown suit. "Well, Bill, as they say, 'Never work with children or animals.' We're doing both." Bill laughed, shaking his head. "Let's just hope the kids don't form a tiny, angry mob and take us down with Nerf guns." Molly grinned, applying her red nose. "That's the spirit, Bill. Now let's go steal some joy."
