The dimly lit basement was cluttered with old furniture and dusty boxes, but it served as the perfect hideout for Molly and Bill. They're creepy." "Bill, focus," Molly insisted, her voice firm. "We need to blend in. Besides, it's not like we're going to perform. Just smile, wave, and grab the presents." Bill sighed, glancing at the pile of clown costumes in the corner. "Alright, alright. But what about the kids? They're like little detectives. One wrong move and they'll sniff us out." Molly chuckled. "That's why we have the balloon animals. Kids love balloon animals. You keep them entertained while I do the heavy lifting." "Balloon animals?" Bill raised an eyebrow. "I can barely tie my shoelaces, let alone twist a balloon into a giraffe." "Relax, Bill," Molly said, patting his shoulder. "I've got a book on it. You'll be a pro in no time." Bill shook his head, still skeptical. "And what if they ask us to do tricks? I can't juggle, Molly." "Then don't juggle," Molly replied, exasperated. "Just do a funny dance or something. You're good at that." Bill chuckled, a hint of pride in his voice. "Yeah, I do have some moves. Alright, I'm in. But what about the presents? How do we carry them all out without looking suspicious?" Molly grinned, pulling out a large, colorful sack from under the table. "Santa's sack. We stuff it full and make a quick exit. No one will question a clown with a sack." Bill nodded, finally convinced. "Okay, Molly. Let's do this. But if I get pied in the face, I'm blaming you." Molly laughed, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Deal.
