Molly adjusted her black beanie, the single streetlamp casting a long shadow over their dimly lit hideout. "So, you're sure about this, Bill? A children's party?" she asked, skepticism dripping from her words. Bill flashed a mischievous grin. "Sure as sugar. Those little rugrats get the best loot. Think about it: toys, gadgets, maybe even a few golden tickets to the chocolate factory. Jackpot, baby." Molly rolled her eyes. "You're nuts, you know that? But nuts in a good way, I guess. So, how do we get in? Crawl through the doggy door?" Bill shook his head, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "Nope. We go in as the entertainment. Clowns. We'll fit right in with the face paint and floppy shoes." Molly groaned. "Clowns? Seriously? I hate clowns. They're creepy." Bill chuckled. "Come on, Molly. It's perfect. Who suspects a clown?" Molly sighed, defeated. "Alright, alright. But if I see one balloon animal, I'm out." Bill nodded earnestly. "Deal. Now, here's the plan. We show up an hour early, stake out the place, make sure the coast is clear. Then, we put on our best clown act and slip in with the rest of the party crew." Molly raised an eyebrow. "And the security?" Bill waved a hand dismissively. "Amateurs. Probably just a couple of rent-a-cops more interested in the cake than guarding presents. We'll handle them easy." Molly crossed her arms, unconvinced. "Easy for you to say. You're not the one who has to wear a red nose and big shoes." Bill's laughter echoed through the room. "Oh, come on, Molly. Think of it as a challenge. A clown-tastic adventure." Molly smirked. "You're impossible, you know that?" Bill winked. "And you love it." Molly rolled her eyes again but couldn't hide the smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Alright, let's do this. But if I get caught, I'm blaming you." Bill's grin widened. "Fair enough. But trust me, this is gonna be a piece of cake. Or should I say, a piece of birthday cake." Molly playfully punched his arm. "Just remember, no shenanigans until we're out of sight. We're supposed to be professionals, remember?" Bill raised his hands in mock surrender. "Scout's honor." Molly shook her head, a reluctant smile creeping across her face. "You're something else, Bill. Let's go steal some presents." Bill grabbed a duffel bag off the floor. "And a few laughs along the way."
