Molly adjusted her balaclava, glancing at Bill who was fiddling with a set of lock picks. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Bill?" Bill looked up, eyebrows raised. "When have we ever backed down from a challenge, Molly? Besides, it's not like we're robbing a bank. It's just a bunch of kids' presents." Molly sighed. "I know, but stealing from children? That's a new low, even for us." Bill shrugged. "Low or not, it's a job. And we need the money. Plus, think of the fun we'll have. It's been a while since we've pulled off something this daring." Molly grinned despite herself. "Alright, alright. Let's do this. But we need to be quick and quiet. We don't want to scar these kids for life." Bill nodded, slipping the lock picks back into his pocket. "Got it. Now, let's go over the plan one more time. We sneak in through the back door, grab as many presents as we can, and slip out before anyone notices. Easy peasy." Molly rolled her eyes. "Famous last words. You always say that and then everything goes sideways." Bill laughed. "Hey, at least we always manage to get out in one piece. Speaking of which, where's our getaway driver?" Just then, a horn honked from outside, and Molly and Bill exchanged a look. "Right on time," Molly said. "Let's move." They hurried out the back door of their hideout, careful to avoid any prying eyes. The party was being held in a nearby community center, and they could hear the sounds of children laughing and toys being played with. Bill paused for a moment, glancing at Molly. "You ready for this?" Molly took a deep breath. "As ready as I'll ever be." They slipped inside, keeping to the shadows as much as possible. The room was filled with colorful decorations and a large pile of presents in the center. Children were running around, squealing with laughter, and Molly felt a pang of guilt. Bill nudged her. "Focus, Molly. We've got a job to do." Molly nodded, taking a deep breath. "Alright, let's grab the presents and get out of here." They moved quickly, scooping up as many presents as they could carry. Molly was halfway to the door when she heard a small voice behind her. "Hey, what are you doing?" She turned to see a little girl standing there, eyes wide with confusion. Molly froze, not knowing what to say. Bill stepped in, grinning. "We're Santa's helpers, sweetheart. We're just making sure all the presents are ready for Christmas." The little girl's face lit up. "Really? Can I help?" Molly exchanged a panicked look with Bill. "Um, maybe next year, honey. Right now, we have to go. Santa's orders." The little girl nodded, looking disappointed. "Okay. Bye, Santa's helpers!" Molly and Bill hurried out the door, hearts pounding. "That was too close," Molly said. Bill laughed. "Hey, at least we didn't get caught. Now, let's get out of here before anyone else sees us." They made it back to their hideout, dropping the presents on the floor. Molly looked at the loot, feeling a mix of guilt and relief. "We did it. We actually did it." Bill grinned. "See? Told you it would be easy. Now, let's get these wrapped up and ready for sale. We've got a lot of work to do." Molly shook her head. "You're something else, you know that?" Bill winked. "And that's why you love me." Molly rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but smile. "Just don't let it go to your head." Bill laughed. "Too late for that. Now, let's get to work. We've got a lot of presents to wrap."
