"We're going in as clowns," Molly declared, wiggling her crimson nose. Bill adjusted the oversized shoes on his feet, frowning at the polka dots on his shirt. "I feel ridiculous," he muttered. "You look ridiculous," Molly chuckled. "That's the point. These kids won't suspect a thing." Bill glanced around the leafy backyard. Bunting strung between trees fluttered in the breeze. Balloons bobbed merrily, tied to picnic tables laden with sugary treats. "Looks like we walked onto a set for a saccharine movie," he grumbled. Molly tugged on his arm. "Focus, Bill. We're not here for the cupcakes. We're here for the loot. The presents are in that bouncy castle," she pointed to a colorful bouncy castle, its walls pulsing with the excitement of energetic children. "Right, the bouncy castle. How are we going to get in there without being noticed?" Bill whispered, scanning the crowd of parents mingling nearby. "Simple," Molly grinned, revealing a fake set of buck teeth. "We'll be part of the entertainment." Before Bill could protest, Molly was strutting towards the bouncy castle, her exaggerated walk sending children into delighted giggles. She waved her hands enthusiastically, her fake mustache twitching. "Ladies and gentlemen," she announced in a hilariously high-pitched voice, "prepare to be amazed by the world-renowned... Clowns for Hire!" Bill gritted his teeth and waddled after her, his large shoes tripping him up. He forced a giddy grin, praying no one recognized him. Inside the bouncy castle, the children bounced with glee, oblivious to the impending theft. Molly and Bill, now fully immersed in their clown personas, started juggling oranges, much to the amusement of the kids. "Where's the birthday girl's present?" Molly whispered to Bill, still in character. Bill pointed towards a pile of brightly wrapped packages in the corner. "Target acquired," he said, his voice barely audible over the children's laughter. Molly nodded, her nimble fingers deftly plucking a particularly large package from the pile. She hid it under her oversized coat, still juggling and tumbling with the kids. Bill, meanwhile, was struggling to maintain his composure. A little boy had tugged on his oversized shoe, demanding a balloon animal. "Coming right up, little buddy!" Bill squeaked, his mind racing. He fumbled with a balloon, twisting it into a wobbly dog shape. The boy squealed with delight. Molly, sensing the tension, gave Bill a subtle nod. It was time to go. She launched into an exaggerated pratfall, tripping over her own feet and sending the children into fits of laughter. As they were distracted, she and Bill eased towards the exit, the stolen present tucked safely away. Just as they reached the edge of the bouncy castle, the birthday girl's mother approached, eyes wide with surprise. "You two are brilliant!" she gushed, oblivious to the theft. "The kids are having a blast!" Molly and Bill grinned, their faces plastered with clown makeup. "Glad you think so," Molly said, her voice returning to normal. They strolled out of the party, blending seamlessly into the crowd of departing parents. The stolen present was already tucked away in Molly's bag. "Well, that was easier than I expected," Bill said, wiping sweat from his brow. Molly winked. "That's the beauty of a good disguise, Bill. Now, let's get outta here before they realize what we took."
