Earlier that evening, Molly had scoped out the place, her eyes lighting up at the mountain of presents piled high in the corner of the living room. "This is going to be a piece of cake," she had whispered to herself. Now, as Molly and Bill crouched behind a hedge, the weight of the task settled in. "You sure this is a good idea?" Bill asked, his voice shaky. "Relax," Molly replied, her eyes scanning the scene. "It's just a bunch of kids. How hard can it be?" Bill shifted uncomfortably. "I don't know. Kids can be unpredictable." Molly rolled her eyes. "You worry too much. Look, we slip in, grab the loot, and slip out. Easy peasy." Bill frowned. "I still don't like it. What if we get caught?" Molly sighed. "We won't. We're professionals." Bill hesitated. "I just don't want to end up on Santa's naughty list." Molly chuckled. "Trust me, this is a victimless crime. Besides, imagine the look on their little faces when they see an empty room." Bill groaned. "You're terrible." Molly grinned. "Come on, let's do this." With a deep breath, they made their move, darting across the yard and slipping inside the house. The room was alive with laughter and chatter, the children oblivious to the impending theft. Molly and Bill exchanged a look, their hearts pounding with a mix of excitement and nerves. "Ready?" Molly asked. Bill nodded. "Ready."
