Molly pushed the door of the dimly lit apartment, her eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and mischief. She flopped onto the couch, where Bill was already sprawled out, a map of the party venue spread across his chest. "Finally, you’re here," Bill said, not looking up from the map. "We need to go over this one more time." "Relax," Molly replied, peeling off her jacket. "I’ve been planning this since we scoped out the place. The kids will be so busy with cake and balloons, they won’t even notice us." Bill raised an eyebrow. "And you’re sure about this?" "Absolutely." Molly leaned over, tapping a spot on the map. "See, the presents are all stacked by the playhouse. We get in, grab the loot, and out the back door. Five minutes, tops." Bill sighed, folding his hands behind his head. "What about security? There’s bound to be some." "Please." Molly rolled her eyes. "It’s a kids’ party. The only security you’re going to find is a dad with a cell phone." Bill sat up, his face serious. "What if someone recognizes us? I mean, we don’t exactly blend in at a kid’s party." Molly chuckled. "That’s why we’re coming as clowns. Face paint, big red noses, and oversized shoes. They’ll love us." Bill’s face twisted in a dubious smile. "And you’re sure the parents won’t get suspicious?" "Parents are so overwhelmed with their own kids, they’ll be grateful for any extra entertainment. Trust me, we’ll fit right in." Molly tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Besides, we can distract them with some juggling or magic tricks. Classic diversion." Bill shook his head, a grin spreading across his face. "You really have this all figured out, don’t you?" "I’ve been planning heists longer than you’ve been out of diapers," Molly shot back. "And this one is a slam dunk. We’re talking action figures, board games, and who knows what else. It’s a gold mine, Bill." Bill sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Okay, but what about the moral aspect? Stealing from kids …" Molly’s eyes hardened. "We’re not stealing from kids. We’re liberating toys from a system that overloads them with junk. And if it helps, we can always donate some to a children’s hospital or something." Bill frowned, considering it. "That’s a good point. But still, it feels a bit … off." "Look, Bill," Molly said, her voice softer. "We’ve been struggling. This could turn things around for us. We’re not hurting anyone, and we’re not exactly leaving these kids in the lurch. They’ll get more presents next year. Besides, we’ll be in and out before they even notice." Bill nodded, a small smile forming. "Alright, you’ve convinced me. But we’re doing the clown thing, and we’re donating some of the stuff, okay?" "Deal." Molly held out her hand, and Bill shook it firmly. "Now, let’s get some practice in those juggling skills. We don’t want to look like amateurs out there." Bill chuckled, getting up to grab the juggling balls. "You got it, partner. Let’s make this a heist to remember." Molly grinned, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Trust me, it will be."
