"I'm telling you, Bill, the Smiths' kid is going to make this the easiest mark we've ever had," Molly said, sipping on a cup of coffee while studying the blueprints of the party. "Easy being said, easy done is what I'm counting on," Bill replied, adjusting his tie for what felt like the hundredth time. "So, what's the plan again?" Molly asked, trying to squint at the paper due to the morning sun streaming through the window. "We hit the house at 6, you create a diversion near the play area, I slip in through the open window on the east side," Bill said, waving his hand to indicate the correct room number. "And then what?" Molly asked, already mentally picturing the stack of presents and the look on little Timmy's face when we got away with it all. "You get the presents, I get the cake," Bill said, a sly grin spreading across his face. "There is cake?" Molly's eyes lit up. "Did they really think they could fool a seasoned pro with a chocolate cake and plastic ice cream?" "It's not just any cake, it's a themed cake," Bill said defensively. "Silly clown cake with, like, hundreds of fondant candies on it." Molly chuckled. "Those decorations are the real heist, Bill. 'Hey, look, a cake! Ooh, what's that red thing?'" she teased. Bill shot her a playful swat. "Shut up. You're just mad because you're not the one who's going to have to pretend to be Mr. Clown in the photo booth." "Oh, please," Molly said, rolling her eyes. "I've got the whole 'adult in a bright orange wig and face paint' thing down pat. I'm basically a pro." "Really? How many times have you done that in your life?" Molly thought for a moment before responding, "At least three times, at karaoke nights. And also that one time my niece's tenth birthday party. She wasn't a great sport about it, but come on." Bill chuckled. "Okay, moving on to the important stuff. Have you talked to Sally about the exchange plan?" "Exchange plan?" Molly asked, confused. "The one where we exchange the presents for candy and, you know, just walk out with a bunch of worthless junk," Bill said, shrugging. Molly's eyes narrowed. "You can't be serious. That's just weird." "What's weird is this ridiculously easy target. We're just going to have to rethink strategy," Bill said, tugging on Molly's arm. "Forget the candy, let's just grab everything and be done with it," Molly suggested.
