The conference room was dimly lit, the only sound the faint hum of fluorescent lights above. Molly leaned back in her chair, steepling her fingers as she stared at Bill. "Alright, let's go over the plan one more time. We get in at 3 PM, just as the birthday party is getting underway. We scope out the lay of the land, find the present stash, and... poof!" Bill nodded, his eyes shining with excitement. "And then we're rich, baby. Rich, I tell ya! The kiddie parties of Los Angeles are a goldmine. Who needs Fort Knox when you can hit a 6-year-old's birthday bash?" "Technically, it's not our fault the parents are using the party as an excuse to spoil their little rug rats rotten," Molly chuckled. "I mean, have you seen the stuff they bring out for these kids? iPods, laptops... the real question is, what's the markup on these little bundles of joy?" "Don't get too caught up in the details, Molly," Bill warned. "We make the break at 3:45, just when the piñata's getting ready to drop." "And not a word to the little monsters about why the cool, awesome presents are missing. We don't want to be that couple with the 'Sorry kids, Mommy and Daddy got robbed' speech," Molly grinned mischievously. "Puts a damper on the whole celebration thing."
