Molly cased the scene, her eyes scanning the crowded backyard of the miniature mansion. Teddy bears and plastic dinosaurs decorated the tables, a cacophony of colorful chaos that belied the severity of their mission. "Okay, Bill, we're in," she whispered, her voice lost amidst the chatter of sugar-high parents and their pint-sized patrons. Bill adjusted his fedora, a look of concentration etched on his face. "Alright, here's the plan. We hit the east wing, where the adult presents are kept. I'll create a diversion over here, while you grab the kid's table." Molly's eyes sparkled with mischief. "And what kind of diversion did you have in mind, genius?" Bill grinned, a wobbly lollipop lodged between his teeth. "Just a little game of musical chairs. You know, kids laughing, kids crying... pure pandemonium. The adults will be too distracted to notice us siphoning off the loot." Molly nodded, her ponytail bobbing behind her. "Sounds like a solid plan. Just don't forget to wear a party hat. We don't want to blend in with the amateurs." As Bill straightened his hat, Molly darted over to the door, slipping inside unnoticed as a shrieking kid tugged his hair. "Bill, the coast is clear!" Bill clapped his hands together, a tinny tune echoing from the speakers. "Okay, it's showtime! Let's rock this joint!" The kids shrieked and giggled as Bill started doing a bizarre dance, a conga line forming behind him. Molly watched, a sly smile spreading across her face, before making a beeline for the kid's table. A screaming child leapt onto the table, and Molly's eyes wide with excitement, she began to rummage through the presents. Boxes of toys and stuffed animals were quickly snatched off the stacks, and she shoveled them into a sack slung over her shoulder. "Hey, Bill! Get the grown-ups distracted. I've got the good stuff!" Bill spun around, a silly grin still plastered on his face. "Oh, got it! Got it! Woohoo!" As the kids sang along to the cartoon music, he flung open the doors to the adult wing, a gaggle of bewildered grown-ups taking one look at the chaos before turning back to the kids. One of the parents, a florid woman with a garish smile, spotted Molly and cried out, "Molly's the culprit! Her mom?" The kid's scream reached a fever pitch as the woman charged toward Molly, but she was too quick, sidling past the child's flailing mother to reach the next table. Bill was already making his way across the room, a sack piled high with goodies. Molly snatched one last box, a garish doll wrapped in purple velvet, before leaping off into the fray, the sack slung over her shoulder now heavy with loot. "Time to get outta Dodge, Bill!" The music finally ended, the kids' parents rallying to restore order, but Molly and Bill were long gone, vanished into the night, their pockets bulging with stolen happiness.
