Molly leaned against the wall, her eyes scanning the suburban neighborhood, trying to get a glimpse of the Jones' residence. The three-story colonial lookin' house with a red swing set in the kid's front lawn - the big one. Bill, the lovable goon, gestured for her to follow him, and they moved in tandem up the walkway, the sun casting long shadows across their faces. "You ready to get up close and personal with the little scallywags?" Bill whispered, his voice low and hushed as they turned the corner onto Oak Street. "Of course, Bill," Molly replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "We need to know exactly where the baby monitor is, don't we, or we'll be robbed blind." Bill snorted, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Robbed blind. Again." As they crept up to the front door, his eyes roved over the gleaming metal handle. "What if the front door's locked?" Molly tucked her hands deep into her pockets. "We'll need a way in that can get us to the back. We need kids to kidnap." Bill chuckled, clapping his side. "The more the merrier." They circled around to the side of the house, Bill peering into the living room window to spot the chaos unfolding inside. "Looks like they've got a craft party going on," he said dryly. "Yeah, or was just a bad party. The chaos," Molly snorted." Bill snorted back. "Kids are like a puzzle, Molly. Maybe we can solve the math problem." Molly raised an eyebrow. "You know, Bill, sometimes I worry about you." Bill grinned. "Hey, I can handle myself, Molly. I've been playing Rob the Kid for years." "Rob the Kid's got moves, I've seen him, "Molly quipped. "But let's hope this kid runs screaming pretty badly if he knows who his parents are." The back door burst open, and a rambunctious little boy tumbled out, a chunk of playdough stuck to his face. Bill held up a reassuring hand for Molly to follow him as they made a getaway, weaving around the partygoers and making a beeline for the garden shed." They found the baby monitor bolted to the wall, and Bill carefully picked the lock, sneaking a peek inside. "The kids are probably hiding under the couch, waiting for an unsuspecting parent to drop something." Molly giggled, a little unease creeping up. "This is actually kind of fun." Bill chuckled, pulling her close for a kiss. "For me, mostly."
