"Molly nodded, rubbing the weariness from her eyes as she stood outside the party house. "Soaking," was code for we're-will-be-breaking-ins, she mouthed to Bill. He raised an eyebrow, already mentally calculating the perimeter. "Alright, we move out," he said, voice steady as always. "We don't know what kind of security cameras we're dealing with." Molly nodded, though he didn't need her confirmation. They approached the property carelessly, avoiding the designated parking spot and slipping past the row of neatly mowed lawns. Once inside, they slipped through the sliding glass doors with a practiced ease that bordered on laziness. "Ah, perfect," Bill whispered as they made for the interior foyer. "Gloves, let's get these things." Out of thin air, a black stroller magically appeared in front of them, completely unannounced. Bill lunged to grab it and yanked it open, earning a blast of cold air that made Molly raise an eyebrow. "Great job," she muttered, hauling the "gift" under her arm. "That thing's been sealed with dog yelping tape," she observed, releasing a high-pitched yelp as she wiggled out of the sleeves. "Not exactly exactly what I had in mind for our 'gift'." Bill chuckled and she shot him a stern look, too focused on her task. They tiptoed up the curved carpeted stairs, drawing less attention than they'd predicted. At the 3rd floor, they ducked into the craft room and snatched set after set of colorful pencils. Bill fumbled with the box of stickers at the top, getting his fingers jammed into the tiny slot to access the rewards inside. A half-peeled sticker box slipped around his wrist as Molly caught his arm. "Sticky," he cursed under his breath, twisting his wrist to release. "Easy, I'm not trying to wrestle this cat." The sticker box slid out, nearly bottoming the box off her arm. "Good girl," Molly quipped, gently prying out the sticker with her nails. Finally, they claimed a stash of precariously labeled toys from the kitchen. Bill whirled around to see what Molly had found in his side of the room. "Hey, all mine, huh?" "Oh, oh, no," Molly said, tucking the box away in a secure spot. "A little extra gift for our host." Bill looked a trifle miffed as Molly snacked on the scattered leftover craft supplies. "You're going to have to hold this one," she said, shoving the candy into his mug.
