Molly crouched beside the pile of decorations, her eyes scanning the backyard with a practiced air of disdain. "I still can't believe it. A bunch of kids and their parents, all just waiting to be pranked." Bill, standing behind her, nodded silently. He wore a pair of Groucho marshall glasses perched above his forehead, a cartoonish mustache twirling above the bridge of his nose. A harpsichord drifted through the air, the music growing louder as a group of tiny voices chattered excitedly in the distance. Molly raised an eyebrow. "You thinking this is so funny? These brats and their parents think they're having a tea party just because there's cake to be eaten and sugar high." Bill snorted. "Just you wait till they get to the presents. That's the real treasure. The toys, the trinkets, the stupid inflatable shoes. They're going to trade in their sugared-up smiles for presents, and we're going to take them all." Molly smirked, arranging the balloons. "I've been thinking... maybe we can use some of the decorations to our advantage. We can distract everyone while sneak up to the living room, grab the loot. I've already rigged up the smoke bombs to play off stage left." Bill chuckled. "You're a genius, Molly. My favorite." Molly rolled her eyes. "Oh, spare me the heroics. We're just thieves, Bill. We're not going to change the world with our pilfering." The music swelled louder, attracting a crowd. Molly and Bill exchanged a mischievous glance. "Okay, it's showtime."
