The sun beat down on the parking lot of "Bubbles and Blooms" children's birthday venue, casting a harsh glare on the rows of minivans and SUVs. Molly and Bill huddled in the shade of a large oak tree, poring over the layout of the party area. "Alright, here's the play-by-play," Bill said, his eyes scanning the blueprints. "We hit the party area at 2 PM, when the kids are all occupied with craft stations and whatnot. The adults are usually too distracted to notice anything out of the ordinary." Molly nodded, her ponytail bobbing up and down. "And what about security?" Bill snorted. "This place has about as much security as a kitten's playground. A single camera outside, and that's it. We can disable it with ease." Molly raised an eyebrow. "Ease? You make it sound like a walk in the park. What about the party staff? Won't they raise the alarm when they notice presents missing?" "They'll be too busy dodging sticky hands and dodgy cake to even notice," Bill said, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Besides, we'll need a solid two minutes to get in, grab the presents, and get out. The staff will be too busy dealing with tantrums to even register what's happening." Molly grinned. "You're a regular kid expert, Bill." "Hey, I've had my fair share of birthday parties, trust me," Bill said, holding up his hands in mock defense. "Now, let's get to the good stuff. What do you say we hit the princess-themed party? Those kids get the good stuff, always." "The good stuff?" Molly raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, you know, the expensive designer dolls and high-end electronics. The kids who get the princess-themed parties are usually well-to-do types with very... discerning parents." Molly's eyes lit up. "Oh, I see what you mean. It's like we're hitting the mother lode of nerf guns." Bill chuckled. "Exactly. We'll be millionaires in no time." The two thieves spent the next hour pouring over the layout of the party area, solidifying their plan of attack. As they discussed their strategy, they were interrupted by the sound of shrieking children and the wail of a clarinet being played off-key. Molly winced. "I think the party's about to start. Time to put our plan into action." Bill grinned, packing up the blueprints. "Time to put our thieving skills to work, Molly. We're about to make some very spoiled little kids very very happy."
