Melanie smiles warmly at Hunter. "Yes, of course! You're also very pretty yourself." Hunter raises an eyebrow at Melanie's comment, looking flustered for a moment. His no-nonsense attitude and detective demeanor weigh heavily on him. Hunter: "We caught someone in the courtyard. I found your photo on your camera, among other photos of people disappearing. I just need some context to my case. Now, why would you be taking a photo of someone like this at an apple festival?" Melanie shrugs, looking lost and sympathetic. "I... I just thought that he seemed sad and lost. I wanted to capture that emotion. You know, the loneliness of life, sometimes at the apple festival, you can find a lot of lost souls that ultimately find their connection to them at the festival." Hunter looks confused, trying to reconcile what Melanie is saying with the murder investigation he is working on. Hunter: "I don't understand. Your photography was of these people, just standing there looking around." Melanie continues to defend: "Yes, but you know, in life, what is contemplation. Perhaps sometimes, those people are looking for something deeper, something they've lost or have been missing in their lives." Hunter thinks for a moment, then understands. "And these people, these people you photographed at the apple festival, they're now gone?" Melanie, a little shaken and troubled, nods. "Yes. At least five of them. Perhaps more. They all disappeared." Hunter: "Someone is taking people out for their own pleasure." Melanie falls silent for a moment before she whispers: "I could see it in the photos now. It seems like it was someone else that took those photos." Hunter: "Then you have a lot to do. We need to see more of these photos, and we need to find those people." Melanie: "Sure, I'm happy to help. I already have more pictures on my camera. Maybe the person we're looking for is on there." Hunter: "Thank you for your help. I promise you that you have angels watching over you as you go forward to help us find the person behind the Apple Festival Mystery." Melanie smiles at Hunter's confidence.
