Warm summer sun gleamed on the lake's surface. Family by the boathouse unpacked their picnic. Father, mother, two daughters, all laughing. Daughter turned the leather-bound book in her hands. Closed it. An odd letter fell to the ground. Mother cried out. Daughter picked it up. It read, "Your husband is a murderer." She stared. Her hand shook. Dad approached. "What's wrong?"
