We waltz into this kid's birthday party, make off with all the presents, and boom - we're richer than Richie Rich." Bill slammed his fist on the table, spilling his coffee. "Are you insane? We're thieves, not babysitters! Kid parties are a nightmare - balloons, clowns, those creepy Elmo costumes..." Molly smirked, clearly enjoying Bill's discomfort. "Oh come on, lighten up! It'll be easy - we'll just blend in as party guests. Show up with a balloon animal, sprinkle some glitter on our shirts, and they'll never suspect a thing." "Uh huh, and what's to stop a bunch of pushy parents from accusing us of stealing the presents? I can just see the headline: Infamous Thieves Arrested at Child's Birthday!" Molly rolled her eyes. "Oh please, use your noggin. We'll do it after the party when the place is deserted. Just need to charm our way in during the festivities so they won't question us later. We're talking a few hours, tops." Bill sighed, running a hand through his unruly hair. He knew arguing was pointless once Molly got an idea in her head. "Fine, we do it your way. But I'm not wearing anything pink or fluffy, I don't care how inconspicuous it is." Molly burst out laughing. "Lighten up, Bill! Think of it this way - all those presents to unwrap and none of 'em will be socks or ugly sweaters. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me." "Well, when you put it that way..." Bill conceded with a wry grin. "Alright, when's the party and what's our cover?" Molly smiled triumphantly. "We're told a wealthy family is throwing a soiree for their spoiled little princess next Saturday. Grandmas, grandpas, the whole eight yards. We'll show up as distant cousins... and emerge with a car full of priceless presents." Bill shook his head, still trying to process the absurdity of their plan. "And here I thought we left the kiddie stuff behind way back when..." "Hey, diversify your portfolio, right?" Molly winked. "Plus, I'm still hoping to snare that diamond necklace - or was it a bracelet? Anyway, pretty sure there was some sort of bling promised as loot." Bill stared at his partner in crime with a mix of exasperation and grudging admiration. "God help me, but you're probably right about all of it. Let's just pray no straight-laced parents figured out the guest list... though somehow I doubt it, with our luck." Molly stood up, dusting off her pants with a smirk. "Oh don't be such a sourpuss!
