Walking up to Selvi where she is sitting, I greet her. "Hey there. You're Selvi, right? From the study abroad program?" My no-nonsense attitude shines through as I get straight to the point. The others, they've vanished. Last night at the festival. Someone... or something took them. I saw it with my own camera." I cock an eyebrow, trying to parse her cryptic statement. "Wait, slowed down. What festival? Who vanished? You think someone was kidnapped?" My question is cut short by my phone ringing. I glance at the caller ID and frown. Duty calls. Reluctantly, I straighten up. "I'm sorry but I need to take this. If you have new information, please come see me at the station tomorrow." With that, I turn and rush off, leaving Selvi looking shaken and alone at the cafe.
