Molly rubbed her hands together, a wicked gleam in her eye. "So, here's the plan. We're gonna hit this kids' birthday party and make off with all the loot." Bill raised an eyebrow. "A kid's party? Seems a bit small-time, don't it?" "Small-time? Pfft. You know how many presents those parents buy to impress the little brats? We'll hit the jackpot, trust me." "Well, alright then. But how are we gonna sneak in?" Molly grinned. "Dress up like clowns, of course! Gotta blend in, y'know." Bill looked skeptical. "Clowns? That's a bit obvious, innit?" "Says you! When everyone else is in costume, a couple of clowns waving balloon animals won't raise any eyebrows." Bill sighed. "Alright, alright. So we waltz in as clowns, do the rounds, scoop up all the loot..." "And then?" "We make like a couple of clowns and scoot!" Bill rolled his eyes. "Don't you mean a couple of bums?" "Hah! No, we'll be laughing bums. 'Cause we'll have all the cash from hawking that crap online." "Alright, you got a point there. So when and where?" "Saturday, noon. Lawson Manor. The rich lawyer's crib." "Lawson? As in, 'powerful businessman with a stick up his-" "Yep, that Lawson. We'll be robbin' the rich to give to... well, us. Who said anything about giving?" Bill snorted. "Never you, that's for sure. Alright, sounds like a plan. Pass me that red clown nose, will ya?" Molly tossed it over. "Don't forget the wig. And maybe some stilts. No sense looking like all the other guests." Bill caught the nose and wagged a finger. "Aye-aye, cap'n. We'll blend in so good, they'll think we're part of the show." "Damn straight. The best way to pull a job is to be the last thing they see before all hell breaks loose." Bill grinned, slipping on the clown nose. "Just like that kids' party we hit last summer, eh?" Molly chuckled. "That really was a riot. Getting tackled by a bunch of hyper kids waving toy swords." "Wait, you weren't there? I thought-" "Ooh, busted! But that just goes to show - when it comes to planning, leave it to the pros. I'll make sure we walk out of there with pockets bulging and heads held high." Bill saluted. "Long live the clown kings, then! To the caper-mobile!" "To the caper-mobile indeed. And may the best thief win."
