"You sure about this, Bill?" Molly asked, peering through the peephole of the apartment door. Outside, a line of parents and kids in party hats stretched down the hallway, clutching wrapped boxes and balloons. "I've never been more sure about anything in my life," Bill said, adjusting his black ski mask. "It's the perfect plan." Molly turned to face him, arms crossed. "You really think we can pull off a heist at a children's birthday party?" "It's genius," Bill insisted. "No one expects to get robbed by a pair of adults dressed as clowns at a six-year-old's party. It's the ultimate misdirection." Molly sighed. "We're not dressed as clowns, we're in black ski masks and trench coats. We look like bank robbers." "Minor detail," Bill waved his hand dismissively. "Trust me, they won't think twice about it. It's a costume party. Now are you gonna open the door or do I have to?" With a resigned groan, Molly twisted the knob and yanked it open. The line of party-goers gaped at the pair of masked intruders looming in the doorway. "Happy birthday to you," Bill warbled off-key, shoving past them into the apartment. Molly rolled her eyes and followed. Inside, the place was packed with shrieking children in party hats. A banner hung across the living room wall: "Happy 6th Birthday Timmy!" A table groaned under the weight of a massive cake, presents, and an industrial-sized bowl of fruit punch. Bill's eyes landed on the presents. "Bingo," he whispered to Molly. "We hit the jackpot." Molly's gaze was on the fruit punch. "I'm starving. Do you think it's spiked?" "Not a chance. These are suburban soccer moms we're dealing with," Bill said. He grabbed a fistful of cupcakes off the table and shoved them into his pockets. "Come on, let's get to work." They began snatching up presents and stuffing them into a large duffel bag. The parents and kids stared, unsure how to react. Molly flashed them a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, we're not here to hurt anyone. We're just, uh, reorganizing the gift table." A chubby little boy in a Batman cape pointed at them. "Mama, they're stealing all the presents!" His mother shushed him. "
