Molly paced back and forth, her red hair swinging with each turn. Bill leaned against the wall, eyeing her with a mix of amusement and annoyance. "Come on Molly, this is the easiest gig we'll ever have. Stealing presents from a bunch of six-year-olds? It's like taking candy from a baby. Well, stealing the baby too," Bill chuckled at his own joke. Molly glared at him, hands on her hips. "You're not taking this seriously enough, Bill. We need to go over the plan again." Bill sighed and pushed off the wall. "Okay, fine. But it's a simple job. We sneak in, grab the loot, and we're gone. The kids will be too distracted by the clown to notice." "The clown," Molly spat. "That's my biggest concern. Clowns freak me out. They're like evil jokers." "Jokers?" Bill raised an eyebrow. "Like Batman jokers?" "No, like jokers as in clowns are jokers, Bill. Joking around, pretending to be funny when really they're creepy as hell. And we know they're actually serial killers. Everyone knows that." Bill shook his head. "You've watched too many horror movies. Clowns are just people in costumes making balloon animals. Nothing sinister about that." Molly crossed her arms, her green eyes flashing. "You can't trust a man who wears more makeup than I do. Mark my words, that clown will try to kill us." "We're not going to kill the clown, we're just going to steal some presents," Bill said slowly. "Maybe you should sit this one out and I'll do it myself." "No way, this is my score. I came up with the plan, I'm getting half the loot." Molly paused, tapping a manicured nail against her lips. "I have an idea. We can dress up as clowns too. Then we'll fit right in. No one will suspect a thing." Bill blinked at her. "Dress up as clowns? Are you insane?" "It's brilliant," Molly insisted. "We'll be the most convincing clown thieves in history. We'll get in, grab the presents, and leave before anyone knows what hit them." "Or we'll get shot by a deranged clown hunter who sees through our disguises and thinks we're the evil jokers you're so convinced they are," Bill pointed out. Molly waved her
