Molly and Bill huddled in the shadows of a dumpster behind the suburban home, the sound of children's laughter and upbeat music drifting through the air. Molly adjusted her cat burglar mask, making sure it sat snug on her face. "I still can't believe we're stealing presents from a kid's party," Bill muttered, his voice muffled by the ski mask covering the lower half of his face. "This is a low point, Molly. Even for us." Molly quickly got to work, shoving presents into the bag while Bill kept watch at the door. Just as Molly zipped the bag shut, a small voice cut through the room. "Mommy, Mommy, I saw someone in the playroom!" Molly and Bill exchanged panicked looks. Molly grabbed the bag and shoved it at Bill before dashing across the room. "Here!" she called loudly, waving her arms. "I'm the clown! Let's sing happy birthday!" A sea of confused little faces turned to look at her as Bill slipped out the back door.
