Molly scanned the backyard from behind the bushes, her binoculars pressed against her nose. A chorus of squeals erupted from the group of children gathered around the piñata, their sugar-fueled energy threatening to spill out into the surrounding neighborhood. Bill leaned in beside her, his voice low and conspiratorial. "Ok, so we've got two adults, five kids under the age of seven, and one piñata that looks like it's on its last string. How do you want to play this?" Molly lowered her binoculars, her eyes narrowing in thought. "We need to get the presents without them noticing. Maybe we can distract them with a diversion." Bill raised an eyebrow. "A diversion? Like what?" "I don't know, something that'll get them running around in circles. Or better yet, something that'll get them off the lawn entirely." Bill nodded, a grin spreading across his face. "I think I can manage that. How about some fake spiders?" Molly raised an eyebrow. "Fake spiders?" Bill shrugged. "Kids hate fake spiders almost as much as they hate real ones. We can buy a bunch of those plastic ones and just scatter them around the lawn. They'll be screaming for mommy and daddy in no time." Molly snorted. "That's actually kind of genius." She tucked the binoculars back into her bag and stood up, brushing dirt off her knees. "Let's go shopping."
