Literally." Molly rolled her eyes. "Fine, let's just get this over with." They crept towards the backyard where colorful balloons swayed in the gentle breeze and laughter filled the air. The smell of freshly cut grass mingled with the aroma of birthday cake. "There's the pile," Bill said, pointing at the mountain of gifts wrapped in vibrant paper adorned with cartoon characters. "Alright, I'll distract the adults, you grab the goods," Molly instructed. "Aye, aye, Captain Clown," Bill joked, saluting playfully. Molly took a deep breath and burst into the party scene.
