"This is ridiculous," Molly whispered, peeking through the window. "I can't believe we're robbing a children's party." "Desperate times, desperate measures," Bill muttered, fidgeting with his oversized clown costume. "Besides, these kids have more toys than they need." "But a clown and a fairy?" Molly glanced at her ridiculous tulle skirt. "Really?" "Blend in with the party, remember?" Bill grinned, adjusting his red nose. "Now, let's go steal some presents." "Fine," Molly sighed, "but you owe me, Bill. Big time." They entered the chaotic party unnoticed, the noise drowning out their whispered conversation. "So, what's the plan?" Molly asked, her fairy wand clutched tightly. "You distract the adults, and I'll grab the presents," Bill said. "Just wave that wand around and look magical." "This is absurd," Molly grumbled, but she did as she was told, weaving her way through the crowd, casting glittery spells on the children as she went. Meanwhile, Bill tiptoed toward the towering pile of presents, his baggy clown pants almost tripping him up. Suddenly, a small voice interrupted his heist. "Hey, mister clown," the child said, "can you make me a balloon animal?" Bill froze. "Sure, kid," he said with a forced smile, "just as soon as I, uh, move these presents out of the way." Molly watched from across the room, suppressing a laugh as Bill fumbled with balloons and presents alike. Stealing from children was a low point, but at least they could laugh about it later.
