"Bill, I can't believe we're doing this," Molly hissed, her face illuminated by the dim light of the laptop screen. "What? It's a job like any other," Bill shrugged, scrolling through the schematics of the house they were planning to infiltrate. "It's a children's party, Bill. A birthday party for a six-year-old," Molly groaned, her eyes pleading with her partner. "And we're going to steal all the presents?" Bill leaned back in his chair, a smirk on his face. "Hey, it's a living, Moll. Besides, you know as well as I do that this isn't your average birthday party. It's the Mayor's kid, for crying out loud. And those presents... well, let's just say they're gonna be worth a pretty penny." Molly sighed, rubbing her temples. "Fine, let's just get this over with." "That's the spirit," Bill chuckled, returning his attention to the laptop. "Alright, here's the plan. We go in through the back gate. Security cameras are down for exactly two minutes. We sync our watches and make our move when the magician starts his grand finale." "You've got to be kidding me," Molly scoffed, shaking her head. "We're relying on a magician's schedule?" Bill raised an eyebrow. "Hey, don't knock it. When the bunny comes out of the hat, we go in. Simple as that." "And then what?" Molly asked, skeptically. "We just waltz in, grab the gifts, and stroll back out?" "Precisely," Bill nodded, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "In and out, quick and clean." "There are going to be children there, Bill. Lots of them," Molly reminded him, crossing her arms over her chest. "How are we supposed to get past them without raising any alarms?" "Easy," Bill grinned, leaning forward conspiratorially. "We'll blend in. You'll be the enthusiastic aunt, and I'll be the goofy uncle. We'll play the part, mingle a little, and then make our move when the time's right." Molly stared at him incredulously. "You want us to pretend to be relatives?" "Hey, it's not like we haven't done it before," Bill countered, shrugging. "Remember that time we posed as a married couple at that fancy gala? It worked like a charm." Molly let out a reluctant chuckle. "Yeah, that was pretty good." "So, we're doing this?" Bill asked, closing the laptop and clapping his hands together. "Against my better judgment, yes," Molly sighed, a small smile playing on her lips. "Let's steal some birthday presents." "Atta girl," Bill laughed, giving her a playful nudge.
