It was a cold, dreary night, and the wind howled like a pack of wolves. Molly and Bill huddled in their small apartment, surrounded by maps and blueprints of their latest target: a children's party. "I can't believe we're doing this, Molly. Stealing presents from kids? It's low, even for us," Bill grumbled, scratching his stubble. "Oh, come on, Bill. It's not like we're taking candy from babies," Molly retorted, rolling her eyes. "Besides, have you seen the loot they've got at these parties? It's like Christmas morning." Bill grunted in response, still not convinced. He knew it was risky, but he also knew that going against Molly was futile. Once she set her mind to something, there was no turning back. "So, here's the plan," Molly began, pointing at the map of the party venue. "We'll go in through the back entrance, sneak our way into the gift room, and make off with the goods before anyone notices." "Sounds simple enough," Bill said, raising an eyebrow. "But what if someone catches us? Kids can be pretty nosy, you know." "We'll just have to be extra careful," Molly replied, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "We'll wear disguises and blend in with the crowd. I'll be a clown, and you can be... well, you can be a giant teddy bear." "A teddy bear?" Bill exclaimed, incredulous. "You've got to be kidding me! I'll look ridiculous!" "Oh, come on, Bill. It's a kid's party. No one will bat an eye," Molly said, stifling a laugh. "Besides, it'll be good cover. Who would suspect a teddy bear of stealing presents?" Bill sighed, knowing he had no choice but to agree. He knew that Molly's plans were usually successful, even if they were outrageous. The night of the heist arrived, and Molly and Bill found themselves in a sea of laughter and screaming children. Molly's clown costume was complete with a red nose and oversized shoes, while Bill's teddy bear outfit made him look like a giant, disgruntled stuffed animal. "Remember, act natural," Molly whispered as they made their way toward the gift room. "And try not to scare the kids." "Easy for you to say," Bill muttered, his voice muffled by the bear head. "You're not the one who looks like a walking carpet." They finally reached the gift room, and Molly's eyes widened at the sight of the mountains of brightly wrapped presents. "Jackpot," she whispered, her voice filled with excitement. They began stuffing the presents into large sacks, working quickly and quietly. Just as they were about to make their escape, a small voice piped up behind them. "What are you doing with all those presents?" Molly and Bill froze, turning around to see a small girl with pigtails and a suspicious frown. "Uh... we're just, uh... taking them to be inspected," Molly said, her mind racing for an explanation. "You know, for safety reasons." "I don't believe you," the girl said, her hands on her hips. "You're stealing them, aren't you?" Bill sighed, knowing they were caught. But just as the girl opened her mouth to scream, Molly pulled a giant lollipop from her pocket and handed it to her. "Here, have a lollipop. And remember, you didn't see anything, okay?" The girl's eyes widened, and she nodded eagerly, taking the lollipop and running off to rejoin the party. "That was close," Bill said, relief flooding his voice. "Let's get out of here before we have any more surprises." Molly nodded, and they made their escape, the stolen presents in tow. As they disappeared into the night, Molly couldn't help but laugh. "You know, Bill, this might be our craziest heist yet." "I couldn't agree more," Bill said, shaking his bear head. "But at least it's never boring with you, Molly."
