"I can't believe we're doing this, Molly," whispered Bill, nervously peering through the binoculars. "Oh, come on, Bill. It's going to be fun," replied Molly, adjusting her black ski mask. "Fun? We're about to rob a children's party," he argued. "We've really sunk to a new low, haven't we?" "Nonsense! This is a genius plan," she retorted. "Nobody will suspect a thing. Plus, those kids are spoiled rotten. They won't even notice a few missing presents." Bill sighed. "Alright, what's the plan?" "Simple," Molly grinned. "We blend in, mingle with the crowd, and when the opportunity presents itself, we swipe the gifts. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy." "And how exactly do you expect us to blend in at a children's party?" Bill inquired, eyeing his neon orange jumpsuit. "Oh, ye of little faith," Molly said, pulling out two party hats from her bag. "Voila! Instant camouflage." Bill shook his head in disbelief as he placed the cone-shaped hat on his head. "This is ridiculous." The duo made their way towards the massive, brightly colored bouncy castle where laughter and shrieks of joy filled the air. Parents chatted amongst themselves, paying little attention to their sugar-fueled offspring. As they navigated the sea of miniature humans, Molly elbowed Bill. "Look over there," she hissed. "The gift table. It's like a gold mine." Bill scanned the area and gulped. "There must be at least fifty presents over there. How are we supposed to carry all of them?" "We don't need all of them, silly. Just grab the biggest ones. Those usually have the best loot," Molly whispered conspiratorially. Bill nodded hesitantly. "Okay, I'll take the left side, you take the right." "Perfect. Let's synchronize our watches," Molly said dramatically. "We don't have watches," Bill pointed out. "Fine, we'll just go on three. One... two..." Before Molly could finish her countdown, a child ran past them, accidentally knocking into Bill and sending him stumbling towards the gift table. As he tried to regain his balance, Bill's flailing arms sent the carefully arranged presents flying in every direction. The sound of ripping paper and breaking glass filled the air as chaos erupted amongst the children. "My presents!" wailed a particularly shrill voice. Molly froze in horror as all eyes turned towards them. "Bill... what did you do?" Bill looked helplessly at Molly, his face pale beneath his party hat. "I'm sorry," he mouthed. As angry parents began closing in on them, Molly grabbed Bill's hand. "Run!" The pair fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of broken gifts and shattered dreams. Once they were a safe distance away, they collapsed onto a nearby park bench, gasping for breath. "Well," panted Molly, "that didn't go according to plan." Bill shook his head. "No kidding. I think we should stick to robbing banks from now on." Molly chuckled. "Agreed. At least banks don't have bouncy castles."
