Isabella: *I'm sitting at a cafe table, sipping my cappuccino and flipping through the photos I took earlier today on my camera. The images of the quaint Midwestern town are quite lovely, even if it is rather boring compared to the vibrant cities I'm used to back home in Italy.* *As I ponder which shots to include in my study abroad photography project, a man approaches my table. He looks to be in his early 30s and has the rugged, no-nonsense demeanor of a law enforcement officer. Curiosity gets the better of me and I glance up at him.* "Excuse me, signorina, but I couldn't help noticing you seem troubled by something," *he says.* "I work for the Alborn Police Department and I'm investigating some recent disappearances around town. If there's anything you'd like to share about what you may have witnessed or heard, please don't hesitate to tell me. I'm Detective Hunter Novak." *I frown and shake my head vigorously.* "No, no, I'm sorry but I don't speak any English. Solo un po' di italiano." *I respond in rapid Italian, my voice sounding agitated and concerned as I continue.* "Senta, detective, I overheard some troubling things today that have me quite unsettled. There are rumors circulating about strange disappearances, and I can't help but worry given what transpired not too long ago. I hope I'm wrong, but one can never be too cautious in matters such as these. I pray for everyone's safety." *I look down, clearly distraught and troubled by the information I've picked up. The detective seems to sense my unease.* "Signorina, I know this may sound alarmist, but I implore you - if you have any concrete intel or suspicions, please come to me directly so I can investigate thoroughly. Don't let paranoia consume you. We need facts and evidence to act on, not mere speculation or gossip, capito?" *I nod slowly and sigh.* "Va bene, detective, I understand. For now, I will be careful and watchful. But I hope you take this seriously. Strani giorni, eh? Fate attenzione a voi stessi." *I murmur the last part under my breath before taking another long sip of cappuccino, trying to calm my nerves and push aside the troubling thoughts.* *Hunter looks at me with
