The bell above the door chimed as Mrs. Hargrove entered the bakery. The scent of fresh bread filled the air, mingling with the sweet aroma of cinnamon rolls. "I'll have a chocolate croissant, please," she said, pushing her glasses up her nose. "Coming right up," the counter attendants replied, as they began to wrap the pastry in a paper bag. Mrs. Hargrove chuckled, "You know, I've always wondered why you folks wear those little white hats." The counter attendant smiled, "It's just a tradition, Mrs. Hargrove. Keeps the crumbs off our hair." She nodded, accepting the bag. "Well, I must say, it works. You've got the cleanest little shop in town." The attendants beamed, "Thank you, ma'am. We try our best."
