The sound of laughter and joyful chatter from the festivities inside echoed through the air, providing a stark contrast to their grave plan. "Alright, Bill," Molly breathed, her eyes scanning the map, "we've got the present room on the ground floor, and we've got to get in without raising the alarm. They've got a dozen kids running around, we need to minimize the chaos." Bill adjusted his glasses, "Right. The front door is non-negotiable, so we'll have to go in through the servants' entrance. The master bedroom window is the only other option." Molly nodded, "And we can slip in after the kids have been tucked in their rooms. The party's only just started, so we've got a little time on our side." Bill pulled out a small device from his pocket, "Here's the plan. I'll hotwire the alarm system from the server room, and you'll use this to slip in under the radar." Molly took the device, "Got it. And then?" Bill grinned, "Then we just stroll in, like we own the place. The presents are in the corner of the room, right?" Molly smirked, "Right. Easy as pie." Bill stood up, "Alright, let's do this." Molly followed suit, "You know what to do, right? The vault in the basement, then we're out." Bill laughed softly, "I've been to this party before, Molly. I know the drill." As they slipped out of the alley and onto the street, the sound of footsteps echoed behind them. A group of children, their faces painted and sparkling with excitement, caught sight of them. "Hey, are you going to the party too?" one asked, running up to them. Molly smiled, "You're the one who needs to ask us that question, little guy," she said, her eyes twinkling with mischief.
