Molly adjusted her blonde wig in the rearview mirror, her bright blue eyes sparkling with mischief. Beside her, Bill scratched his scruffy beard, scrutinizing the plans spread out on the dashboard of their nondescript van. The parking lot of "Kiddie Kingdom" party venue was bustling with harried parents and sugar-fueled children, all oblivious to the nefarious plot unfolding just feet away. "Alright, here's the layout," Bill said, tapping the crude hand-drawn map. "Present table is in the main hall, near the ball pit. We've got a 3 pm window when the kids are distracted by the magic show." Molly nodded, her gaze roving over the venue's perimeter. "And you're sure the security guard makes his pass at 3:05?" Bill checked his watch for what felt like the hundredth time. "That's what our inside source – aka my cousin's kid's babysitter – confirmed. We'll have exactly four minutes and twenty-two seconds to grab the loot and bail." "Loot." Molly snickered, shaking her head. "We're thieves, Bill, not pirates. We're stealing lukewarm Wii consoles and noisy toys, not treasure chests overflowing with gold doubloons." Bill shot her a sideways glance. "Hey, those Wii consoles are still worth a pretty penny on the black market. And don't knock the noisy toys – they're great for creating diversions during future heists." Molly raised an eyebrow. "You've been thinking ahead, haven't you? Gearing up for the big leagues – hitting the Toys 'R Us warehouse on Christmas Eve?" Bill's expression turned wistful for a moment before he shook it off. "One Scoresby party at a time, my friend. Now, let's review the disguises." He handed Molly a bright orange vest with "Kiddie Kingdom Staff" emblazoned on the back. She slipped it over her black jumpsuit, while Bill donned a matching vest, topping it off with a ridiculous party hat. As they prepared to blend in with the party staff, Molly's phone buzzed with an incoming text from their fence, Vinnie. She quickly scanned the message, her face contorting in concern. "What's wrong?" Bill asked, noticing her expression. "Vinnie just backed out. Says the market for stolen kids' toys has 'saturated unprofitability' or some nonsense." Bill's face darkened beneath the party hat. "That's just great. Now what? We can't exactly peddle this stuff on the street corner." Molly's eyes sparkled anew as a plan began to formulate. "Leave that to me. I've got an idea. We'll... ah, how to put this delicately... 'redirect' the presents to a new, entirely un saturated market." Bill's curiosity was piqued. "Do tell, partner in crime." A sly grin spread across Molly's face. "We're about to become the most notorious, altruistic thieves this side of the equator. We'll donate the whole haul to the local children's hospital." Bill blinked, taken aback. "You want to steal from kids to give to... kids?" Molly winked. "Think of it as redistributive justice – or at the very least, a fabulous tax write-off."
