Molly scribbled notes on a crumpled up map of the party venue, a sprawling community center with a playground and a "Ball Pit of Wonder". "Ah, but that's the beauty of it! Who suspects the grown adult in a 'World's Okayest Clown' t-shirt of being a high-stakes thief?" Bill struck a pose, nearly toppling over. Molly face-palmed. "You know the host, Mrs. Johnson, is a kindergarten teacher, right? She's got eagle eyes for nonsense. Our 'okayest clown' act won't cut it." "Details, details. We'll just... improvise. I've got some top-notch clown skills, I assure you." Bill honked an imaginary horn and got a chuckle from Molly despite herself. "Okay, fine. We're in costume. Now, how do we actually get to the presents?" Molly tapped her pen on the map. "Ah, now we're talking. I've been casing the joint, and I noticed the gift table is right next to the 'Craft Corner of Chaos'. We create a diversion –" "A diversion? Like what, a fake spill? A strategically placed whoopee cushion?" Bill's eyes sparkled. "Better. We sneak into the Craft Corner and swap out the glue sticks with these..." He produced a pair of ridiculously oversized, novelty glue sticks that shot out silly string. Molly's laughter escaped before she could stifle it. "You can't be serious." "Dead serious. Kids love glue, and they'll go wild for these. While the parents are busy refereeing the Great Glue Stick Uprising, we slip in, snatch the presents, and make our exit." Molly shook her head, a smile still playing on her lips. "You know, sometimes I don't know whether to be impressed or concerned for your sanity."
