Molly adjusted her oversized, cartoonishly round spectacles, peering over the top of them at the unsuspecting suburban house. Every window glowed with a sickeningly sweet shade of pink. The air was thick with the sound of off-key singing and the occasional, piercing shriek of delight. Bill, attempting to look inconspicuous, was failing miserably. His ‘disguise’ was a trench coat several sizes too large, making him look like a walking, suspicious pile of coats. Molly jabbed him in the ribs with a bony elbow. He nearly toppled over.
