Molly and Bill crouched behind a large oak tree, their eyes fixed on the house across the street. The front yard was a sea of colorful balloons and streamers, with a massive "Happy Birthday, Tommy!" banner stretched across the porch. Molly turned to Bill, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Are you ready for this, partner? We're about to pull off the heist of the century!" Bill chuckled, adjusting his ski mask. "I've been ready since the moment you pitched this idea. Stealing presents from a bunch of snot-nosed kids? It's practically a victimless crime." "Exactly!" Molly said, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "And just think about it – we'll be the most popular thieves in town. Kids will be talking about us for years to come." Bill shook his head, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "You know, sometimes I wonder if you've lost your marbles, Molly. But then again, that's why I love working with you." "Enough chit-chat," Molly said, her voice low and serious. "It's time to put our plan into action. Remember, we need to be quick and quiet. No one can know we were ever here." "Roger that," Bill replied, cracking his knuckles. "Let's do this." The two thieves crept across the lawn, their footsteps muffled by the soft grass. They reached the side of the house and carefully peered through the window. Inside, a group of children were gathered around a table, their faces smeared with cake and ice cream. Molly nudged Bill. "Look at them, so innocent and unsuspecting. It's almost too easy." Bill nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "I see the presents over there, by the fireplace. We'll need to create a distraction to get everyone away from that area." Molly's eyes lit up. "I've got just the thing. Remember that clown costume I bought last Halloween? I'll put it on and start making balloon animals. That should keep the little brats occupied long enough for you to grab the goods." "Brilliant," Bill said, impressed. "You really are a genius, Molly." Molly winked at him before slipping away to change into the clown costume. A few minutes later, she emerged, her face painted with a wide, toothy grin. She sauntered up to the front door and rang the doorbell. The birthday boy, Tommy, opened the door, his eyes widening in surprise. "A clown! Mom, a clown is here!" Molly burst into the house, juggling a handful of colorful balloons. "Hello, boys and girls! I'm here to make this the best birthday party ever!" The children cheered, swarming around Molly like a pack of hungry hyenas. Bill took advantage of the distraction and slipped into the house, his eyes fixed on the pile of presents by the fireplace. He quickly grabbed an empty trash bag and began stuffing it with presents, his heart pounding with excitement. In a matter of minutes, he had cleared out the entire pile. Bill signaled to Molly, who was now making balloon animals for the children. She nodded, a sly smile on her face. Together, they slipped out of the house, their arms laden with stolen presents. As they made their way back to their hideout, Molly turned to Bill, a triumphant grin on her face. "We did it, partner! We're officially the greatest thieves in the history of thievery!" Bill laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. "I can't believe we just robbed a children's birthday party. What's next, Molly? Stealing candy from babies?" Molly's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Now there's an idea..."
