She asked, studying Bill's reaction closely. Bill stared at the colorful display of presents, his mind churning with possibilities. He turned to Molly, a barely concealed smirk on his face. "I say we snatch them all, Leave not a single ribbon or bow behind." Molly shook her head disapprovingly. "We can't do that. Some of these kids have been saving for gifts for months!" Bill rolled his eyes. "Oh, come on! These kids won't miss a few presents. It's not like they'll even realize we took them." Molly crossed her arms and frowned. "Bill, we're thieves, not complete bastards. We have to be selective. Only the big ones, and maybe a few smaller ones for good measure." Bill sighed. "Fine, but we're splitting the proceeds evenly. I'm not letting you take more than me just because you're picky." Molly smirked. "That's fair. But we need to make this quick. The party will be over soon, and we need to be gone before then." Bill nodded. "Agreed. Let's get in and out as fast as we can." They waited until the room was mostly empty, and the last few kids had opened their presents. Bill and Molly slipped into the room, their black garments blending in smoothly with the shadows. Molly's hands moved swiftly, pulling off glittering paper and tearing open boxes. Bill followed, though at a slower pace. Suddenly, a child's voice rang out. "Mommy, did you see what I saw? Someone's stealing the presents!" Bill froze, his hand on a particularly large present. Molly cursed under her breath. "I told you we should've waited longer," she hissed at Bill. "I didn't think any of the kids would still be here!" Bill hissed back. They heard the sound of running feet and muted voices. Someone was coming to stop them. Molly and Bill exchanged a look, then darted for the window. They broke through it, leaping out onto the grassy lawn.
